Have you tried a magic eraser? I know they're amazing at taking marker off of the wall but I don't know about countertops. You could also try hairspray or this stuff called "Goof Off". Good luck!

I know that if you accidentaly write in permanent marker on a white board you can color over it with dry erase marker and it takes it off. No clue if it works on countertops too.

You can also try nail polish remover (make sure it has acetone in it). I've used it to get permanent marker off of lots of things, never tried it on countertops though. Good luck!

I used a magic eraser to get magic marker off a wood dining table. It worked like a charm. Who knew? Good luck.

I actually was going to say the Magic Eraser but I have also used dry erase markers. I don't know. Hopefully you have gotten it out by now.
